Portland Art Museum's NW Film Center Set To Show The Globe As A Graph Film in March 2015

 

This week "The Globe As A Graph" film by Marcus Cotten[channel in channel out] was selected to feature in the NW Film Center's Northwest Tracking Program. They will show the film in its entirety on Wednesday March 11, at the Portland Art Museum's Whitsell Auditorium. There will also be a Q&A session with the Marcus Cotten after the show the film. So stay tuned.

To start off the year 2014 the radio station 3fach from Zurich puts channel in channel out music into rotatation

Channel in Channel out creates music composition for the Echo-in project.

 

Recently channel in channel out aka marcus cotten received a special invite to create a music composition and a special photograph for the Echo-in project. The Echo-in project strives to connect people across the world through music and the beauty of Sainte Baume mountain in France.  Channel in Channel out in "The Wire Magazine"for Qwartz in the January 2013 edition

The January edition of "The Wire" magazine on page 72 featured channel in channel out and other award nominated artists for the launch of the Qwartz Music Awards site (qwartz music dot com) . In 2012 channel in channel out was nominated for 2 Qwartz Music Awards by Qwartz organization, and we are happy to be apart of The Wire this month and Qwartz's new site launch coming soon. We are happy to announce this year that channel in channel out aka marcus cotten was nominated for 2 Qwartz Music Awards for his current and latest album "The Author And The Narrator".The first nomination was for best track for the song calculate the surveillance which was chosen out of 3,247 tracks in a blindfolded listening nomination process.The second nomination was for the author and the narrator album as a whole,the album was nominated for best experimentation for a album.Thank you for all of your support. Channel in Channel out Nominated for a Qwartz music award

channel in channel out aka marcus cotten is nominated for a Qwartz Electronic Music & New Media Award in the category of best track for his song "Calculate The Surveillance".The judges listened to 3,287 selected tracks (about 400 albums) blindfolded before selecting the final 8 nominated tracks.We would like to say thank you to Qwartz music awards for selecting "calculate the surveillance" it is great honor to be amongst the nominated tracks and artist for qwartz.Follow the link below to Qwartz music award nominations, and don't forget to go and vote for the channel in channel out song "calculate the surveillance" when you get there.Voting ends february 7th,and the official ceremony will take place in Paris,France March 29th at the 104 (CENTQUATRE)  in partnership with the Ina GRM.
