"CUSTOM INSTRUMENT CREATED"

Recently a sound experiment was hosted in which Marcus attempted to create his on custom instrument.If you would like to see how that experiment went you can check out a Demonstration Video of marcus playing/demonstrating the custom instrument "in the video section" as well as find out more info on why it was created and how it works....just click the picture.

"INVALID ENTRY AND THE ENCHANTING WORD"

This is the first film and music project created by Marcus.This short film was created to tell the story of the music as well as elaborate more on the feeling or vibe of what the music is trying to convey.The film and music are directly linked.The song lyrics act as the script or dialogue for this short short film....if you would like to check out the film and find out a little bit more about it just click the picture.

FILM PROJECT UPDATE:

So all of the characters are about finished.Here is the main character Curtis in the picture below being suffocated at work by work. i will show more scenes from the film soon and introduce some more scenes and some more characters as i go so keep your eyes open for it.

Channel In Channel Out announces New film project

The new fim project is a animated feature.It is the second music and film project where a short film is being created to tell the story of the music.The first short film being "Invalid Entry And The Enchanting Word".I don't want to give too much away.You will have to wait to see what song will be providing the plot and music for the film.But for now you can meet the main character which is a T.V. man.named Curtis Daniels. Marcus chose a t.v. man to create for the film because he feels like thats what our generation can sometimes become walking television sets.Sometimes we are so connected to our devices we start to become them in a way.The project is still in the works so stay tuned for information to follow.

"The Author And The Narrator"

"The Author And The Narrator"  e.p. release is a handcrafted CD available only in CD format from this site channelinchannelout.com 

These Songs are collection of songs that blend together with diversity in sound as well as tell multiple stories with in each song.The songs on "The Author And The Narrator" have multiple meanings to each track.The lyrics on the all the songs tell stories from different perspectives sometimes contradicting each other like a split personality.The tracks from the e.p. are highly imaginative as well as philosophical at some points. However their connecting thread is they all tell stories in which you could base a small film from each song plot.Some have said the songs on the author and the narrator are a collective of small films for the ears.

Through out the making of the e.p . this idea was put into action by visually creating a small film for the song "Invalid Entry And The Enchanting Word" which will be featured in the video section of this site.....the CD will be available in The Shop
